meets the work.

Philosophy

You can care deeply about the work
and still need care yourself.

Mercurial Flow exists because the people working to create a more just world are too often asked to sacrifice themselves in the process.

The same systems of extraction, urgency, and burnout that exist under capitalism often find their way into our movements, nonprofits, campaigns, and advocacy organizations. In the commitment to collective liberation, it is easy to unintentionally recreate cultures that ask people to override their own needs, disconnect from their bodies, and equate exhaustion with dedication.

Mercurial Flow exists to interrupt that cycle. Liberation is not only something we organize for. It is something we practice — beginning within us, extending into our relationships, and shaping the organizations and communities we build together.

Resilience

Build the capacity to sustain meaningful work.

Resilience is not an individual fix layered on top of an unsustainable pace. It is the shared capacity of people, teams, and organizations to sustain meaningful work without sacrificing themselves or one another. Mercurial Flow's resilience offerings meet organizers, campaigners, and organizations in the middle of real work, not after the pressure has passed.
